Infohos Solutions and Xperthis announced in January 2020 a wide-ranging collaboration. By joining forces, the two companies want to support Belgian hospitals even better to come up to the challenges of the coming years.
The COVID-19 pandemic has clearly demonstrated how vital the quality of health care is to our society. Both companies want to help hospitals in their mission and support them with the best solutions. This will allow the medical staff, nurses and support services to focus on what really matters: the quality of care.
Over the past few months, we have been working intensively in the background to make the partnership between the two companies a reality. An important step was taken on the 4th of June: to merge our two companies into one legal entity.
In the coming months, both organisations will intensify the merger process to align their operations and solutions. Jan Pollet (CEO of Infohos Solutions) and Melchior Wathelet (CEO of Xperthis) will lead this integration together with the Management Team.
"Our companies are very complementary, both geographically and in terms of products and human expertise," says Jan Pollet. "What we have in common is a strong desire to make our products evolve faster and better for the benefit of the hospitals. Together, we will have the means and the strength to achieve this. »
The objective is to complete the integration by early 2021. Melchior Wathelet concludes: "Operationally, the two companies will continue to operate as two separate entities in the coming months, but there is already intensive cooperation on joint projects in the hospitals. All planned assignments will be completed within the agreed timeframe, our current processes will continue, and the customers’ contact persons will remain in place. In the meantime, together with all our employees, we will get to work and see how we can make the most of the synergies between our solutions in order to offer a single, consistent offering. »
