NRB is proud to support the Brussels Management Challenge that will take place on March 20 and 21, 2020 in Brussels (ICHEC Montgomery).
This is an initiative launched in 2017 by a group of professors, alumni and students of ICHEC.
This event is exceptional in a sense that it brings together students from management courses with students who are more scientifically oriented and of that is promoting linguistic diversity form various schoolings. The participants in this competition come from several universities and colleges in Belgium (Uliège, UCL, KUL, VUB, Gent, HEC) but also from the Erasmus programme.
In practice
During two days, more than 400 students, in teams of five, will solve cases developed by the partners, such as NRB.
Three cases will be proposed to the students containing a problem linked to management subjects, with a technical connotation (Data Science, Big Data, IoT, etc.). The participants will have six hours per case to define the most suitable solution. On Saturday afternoon, the teams will present their work in front of a jury of various experts, including NRB collaborators. The evening will completed with the presentation of the prizes from the various sponsors. Pascal Laffineur, CEO of the NRB Group, will be present at this award ceremony.
The NRB case: "Together, let's make life easier for EU citizens".
The case proposed by NRB, will ask the students to assume the role of Business Analyst, similar to what is done at NRB, to make life easier for the EU citizens. The Brussels Management Challenge and NRB share the same mission, i.e. to demonstrate how advanced ICT technologies can indeed play a key role in the search for solutions to societal problems.
