The synergy between Win and NRB reinforces the position of the two companies as key players in the ICT world in Belgium. This new acquisition will enable the NRB Group to progress to a new level in digital transformation and to expand its range of solutions. For its part, Win can count on large-scale projects conducive to the development and sustainability of its activities.
The merger of these two leading companies in the connectivity and IT sectors sounds obvious, given the extent to which they genuinely complement each other. WIN is a network and Data Centre operator and IT solution integrator, while NRB has business expertise, the greenest Data Centre in Belgium and a 5G licence. Together they will be able to consolidate a comprehensive range of services for the professional market, from connectivity to business applications, including the Cloud, cybersecurity and collaboration tools. This will allow the Group to strengthen its position in the Belgian and international markets.
The different areas of expertise make the NRB Group a key player in the ICT market, thanks to its offering of innovative global solutions, in terms of speed, stability and security. With Win, the company is enhancing its ability to accelerate its clients’ digital transformation, a particularly important challenge in a competitive world where connectivity plays a major role.
This partnership also meets clients’ demand to be able to rely on a local player, capable of managing large volumes of data within Belgium. The Group has several high-performance Data Centres in Villers-le-Bouillet and Herstal. The latter is powered by a wind turbine and photovoltaic panels. The addition of Win’s Wallonie Data Center (WDC) reinforces the Group’s position as the market leader in Belgium.
“This strategic acquisition is perfectly in line with the NRB Group’s strategic plan 2026, which focuses in particular on strengthening our core business and telecoms service offering. We are delighted to welcome these new employees, who bring exceptional expertise and talent to our team. Their contribution will enhance our ability to offer our clients innovative, customised solutions, while consolidating our position in the market. Together, we will build a promising future for the NRB Group”, explains André Vanden Camp, Managing Director of the NRB Group.
For Philippe Naelten, Chief Executive Officer of Win says, “Win’s experience, level of service and expertise will be strengthened within this new partnership. The NRB Group offers considerable capacity for development and innovation and opens up new perspectives for our clients.”
