NRB and Civadis will participate to the ‘Smart City Wallonia’ conference & congress that will be held on December 8th at the WEX at Marche-en-Famenne.
For this very first edition of the congress, the organisers decided to concentrate on the practical aspects of the implementation of any Smart City Project. They will indeed match this approach with the needs of the Walloon Region by focusing on its economic, environmental and political specificities as well as its geographical situation (taking both large cities and small villages into account).
During the entire day, scientific experts as well as public and private stakeholders will, through concrete user cases, answer local authorities’ legitimate questions, such as:
- What are the advantages of such a project for my municipality?
- Where should we start?
- Who are the discussion partners of the municipality and what services do they offer?
- What kind of financing plans and funding programs are available to municipalities?
