Magotteaux called on NRB to successfully migrate its Microsoft 365 tenant to its parent company, the Sigdo Koppers group. Patrick Vanhuffel, Chief Information Officer at Magotteaux, tells us how NRB’s expertise played a key role in the success of this ambitious project.
With more than three thousand employees, Magotteaux is the world leader in the supply of high-performance parts for industry, primarily for crushing and grinding. The company offers its clients a full range of services (value chain analysis, expertise, products, etc.) to help them optimize their activities, recover more minerals and offer better pricing.
As long-standing partners, Magotteaux and NRB have worked together to migrate Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Power Platform) to the parent company of the Liège-based company, in Chile. A major challenge because employees use these communication tools on a daily basis. «The transition went smoothly, with no impact on our experts thanks to excellent advance preparation and very good collaboration between the two companies. We can be proud of the end result», says Patrick Vanhuffel, Chief Information Officer at Magotteaux.
NRB contributed its methodology, proven over many years, to make this migration a complete success. «Its experts contributed their mastery of conversion tools, their technical and functional skills», confirms Patrick Vanhuffel.
Magotteaux intends to continue to call upon NRB, in particular for the securing of its application environment as well as its infrastructure architecture.
